Fics like Even Anxious Pups Need the Moon…

The previous 4 years had been a lot. He’d reunited with MJ and Ned. He had Frank, as irritating as the older man could be, who continued to ‘help’ beyond merely causing arguments. He was there for Jean now too. She mostly stayed doing her own thing, but still. She was there too. It all happened so quickly and it felt slightly unreal that he wasn’t ‘alone’. Things were feeling okay again. So, in true Parker fashion, it didn’t last. It started off small. That should have been Peter’s first alarm after the whole advanced arachnid DNA thing. But no, instead he brushed it under the rug. The once-off bad dream wouldn’t affect him! That once-off dream then did occur again, though it was a coincidence, obviously. By the fifth time the vigilante decided to just accept it. They weren’t that bad, just little reminders of things. It was a final warning wrapped neatly in a bow and he went for the loose thread despite the brightly glowing arrows pointing at it being a trap. So after a particularly rough one, he has to call Frank to help. Or The one where Peter Parker has night terrors and tweaks out.
