Dean Winchester only wanted to escape his lonely dorm room for the afternoon. Instead, he bought a ten-dollar ring from a dusty old curiosity shop and accidentally brought home Castiel. Castiel is ancient, powerful, stubborn, and apparently bound to Dean for life. Dean doesn't want a genie. He doesn't want a servant; he just wants a friend. Between college assignments, late-night conversations, family holidays, and one very opinionated ancient being learning how to navigate modern life, Dean gets far more than he bargained for. After all, nobody warned him that a ten-dollar ring might change his entire life.
