Fics like Two Paces Behind

To the rest of the world, Kim Donghyun, popularly known as Leehan, is the picture-perfect, untouchable heir to a massive business empire, and Han Dongmin, code-named Taesan, is nothing more than his stoic, sharp-suited personal bodyguard. Standing two paces behind has been Dongmin’s default position since they were seventeen, transitioning from white butler gloves to tactical gear with seamless, terrifying efficiency. But behind the heavy oak doors of the Kim estate, away from surveillance cameras and strictly enforced protocols, those two paces vanish entirely. They’ve been quietly, fiercely loving each other in the dark for four years. Between shared secrets, the silent protection of the house staff, and late nights spent marking what’s theirs, they’ve perfected the art of hiding in plain sight. But as family expectations close in and subtle slips begin to crack their polished facade, holding onto each other might mean rewriting the rules of the house entirely.
