Fics like Starving

"I don't just want the high he feels. I want the thing he’s chasing. I want to chase him. To catch him. To consume that energy entirely." Wiley is top of his class in engineering, but lately, he is creatively starved. His blueprints are garbage, his prototypes keep blowing up in his face, and his motivation is entirely dead. He doesn't know how to fix it, until he stops to actually watch Beau Rhodes run. He is the university's star athlete; loud, untouchable, and fast enough to take Wiley’s breath away. Watching Beau move doesn't just reignite Wiley's lost inspiration, it sparks a deep, obsessive hunger. Wiley wants to know what makes the runner tick. He wants to figure out how to catch him. A story about academic burnout, mechanical disasters, and the slow, consuming realization that the only thing you're actually starving for is the one guy you claim you can't stand.
