Fics like A troubled cure for a troubled mind

Viktor ghosts an enormous hand over Jayce’s throat. Jayce can’t help but shiver at the proximity, the whoosh of cool air on the bruised skin, the ozone crackle of the Arcane. “You are injured,” Viktor says, then, and Jayce can practically feel it rumble in his chest. “You are tired. You should rest.” “Yeah,” Jayce says dumbly. His eyes feel heavy. He could tip his head forward just the tiniest bit and it would come to rest on Viktor’s reinforced sternum, where blue fabric gives way to shining brass. How would it feel, to touch like that? Not in anger, or fearing for his life, but with reverent curiosity? Jayce and Viktor build a new life as Arcane castaways, and find their way back to each other in the process.
