Fics like An eater

She had no ill intentions when she cast the spell. Still, the uncertainty unsettles him. He doesn’t know who it will activate with, or when—only that it will. That thought alone is enough to make his stomach twist. This fic explores a version of events where the only thing that has changed is the spell Remlin cast on Zanka’s back. The spell is a love spell—one that activates in an unusual way. Rather than targeting a specific person, it lies dormant until you encounter someone who feels interest in you whether romantic or sexual. The moment that interest forms, the spell reacts. It mirrors the emotion back, forcing you to experience attraction toward that person to the same degree. It also amplifies any feelings the other person might have towards you. Those that have it cast for love often call it a blessing. Others call it a curse. The spell is commonly used by young men desperate to find a partner after failing repeatedly at flirting on their own. Simple, reckless magic.
