Fics like Dry Spell (Yep!)

“I think… I think I could probably help you with your situation? If that’s, like, something you’d be interested in.” “Right,” Henry sighs. “That is very sweet of you, Alex. But I’ve already turned down one offer from a potential wingman tonight and I’m not likely to accept another. I’m very capable of finding men on my own if I decide I want to start looking.” “Yeah, I don’t doubt that. I mean, look at you,” Alex says, gesturing towards Henry. It’s incredibly flattering, even if it is just an objective observation. “That’s not what I was saying.” “What are you saying?” Henry asks, not unkindly. He would love to understand what is going on in that beautiful, chaotic brain of Alex’s. “I’m trying to shoot my shot. But full disclosure, I’m a little overwhelmed so, like, please bear with me,” Alex says, running a hand through his hair again. He really is making a mess of those curls. or Henry is going through a dry spell, but there’s more to it than that.
