Fics like What They Don't Teach You.

The academy promises freedom. Students can become heroes, vigilantes, villains, independent heroes, or choose no side at all. Everyone gets to decide their own future. That's what Wemmbu is told when he's enrolled a year late after finally manifesting his power. He doesn't care what side he ends up on. He doesn't even want to be there. But the longer he stays, the more he notices the cracks beneath the academy's perfect image. The rankings. The favoritism. The students who disappear from certain programs. The people watching from outside the gates. Maybe the school isn't as neutral as it claims. And maybe Wemmbu has walked into the middle of something much bigger than himself. (This is a request fic.)
