Fics like Never Let Me Go (Poem)

Story behind this - I was having a terrible anxiety attack and decided to go for a walk outside. I walked a few streets over and it started absolutely pouring rain (so much for my long walk). Crazy thunderstorm, lightning and thunder everywhere. I began to calmly walk back home in the midst of it all and I turned my face towards the sky to just embrace it. The largest crash of lightning and thunder sounded with water raining down on me. It felt very Florence-y and poetic, and I felt compelled to write a poem. I tried to make it very Flo-coded, so sorry if it's not perfect, but I threw in a lot of my past in here. History of my ED, general self-destructive tendencies, and ballet/dancing and the duality of it simultaneously saving and breaking me. Never Let Me Go and What the Water Gave Me were heavy muses for this. I wouldn't have posted, but I was half-forced into it, so enjoy!! Florence has single-handedly saved my life on many occasions, hopefully this will do at least some of it justice since she's the inspiration of my life.
