Fics like Peppy Tunes and Changing Times

Amanda Honeydew, Spell Girl starlet, made a small fortune through singing peppy tunes. Now she visits her former school (she'd agreed to buy the castle), but she's not met with adoration – current Cackle-girls put one of her tunes through some rather blunt modifications and something else becomes much sharper later on. Confused, conflicted and nostalgic, both Amanda and especially one teacher at her former school don’t know what to make of… everything. Or: what happened with Amanda and Constance, both a little more than ten years before and during one of my favourite episodes: The Millennium Bug (s2-ep13)
