Fics like something new

Gojo stares at the horizon, the sun now setting in the distance. He looks over at Suguru. "Well, the good thing is that you took the first step. The next mixer will be easier. Besides," he says, softly bumping into Suguru's shoulder," You're bound to find a lady love eventually. You're pretty easy on the eyes." At the compliment, he blushes. He's been given compliments by men before, but the way that Gojo says it as if his word is final, it feels different. He readjusts his glasses, trying to focus on the warm hues of the upcoming night sky, instead of spring-laced blues. "What about you? Did you find a potential love tonight?" Suguru asks, deciding to shift the focus to the other man. Gojo turns to him to meet his gaze. "I hope so." or After being widowed for over a decade, 50 year old Geto Suguru attends a singles mixer, hoping to meet the woman of his dreams. Who he finds instead is 50 year old Gojo Satoru, a bachelor who sweeps him off his feet and helps him find love again.
