“This is an exclusive. Karen Page in conversation with the Devil himself.” She snorts, realising he isn’t joking, “Absolutely not.” “No one has gotten a quote from this guy, no one really knows him.” Ellison is on a roll now, words stringing together so fast she is struggling to keep up, “The Bulletin gets an exclusive like that it would be huge.” “It’s never happened before because he isn’t advertising himself.” She responds, “Daredevil isn’t doing it for recognition. He genuinely wants to help the city. He’d never agree to an interview with anyone.” Least of all her, the woman who basically told him he has fucked them up so badly she isn’t sure they can come back from it. / Karen needs an interview with Daredevil for The Bulletin. The only problem is she has been avoiding Matt since finding out who he is. Asking him for a favour is not an option. Except, it's not a favour at all because Matt wants something in return. Karen is really starting to wish Ellison would just fire her, it would be better than agreeing to go on a date with her ex-something who she still has feelings for and who clearly still has feelings for her.
