Fics like Birthday in Tokyo

Studying abroad in Seoul, 20-year-old Lee Felix decides on a reckless impulse to spend his birthday weekend in Tokyo. The only problem? The only person he knows in the country is Hwang Hyunjin—someone he hasn't spoken to since an accidental 1:00 a.m. drunk phone call years ago. One blurred night, a web of unsaid truths, and one thing leading to another, Felix boards his flight back to Korea the next morning believing everything is fine. But some weekends leave behind consequences you don't realize are following you—and when old circles reunite months later, the buried secrets of that trip detonate into a massive, irreversible fallout. Years later, just as Felix thinks he has finally outgrown the wreckage of his past and steps out into the real world with a college degree, a sudden, unpredictable twist sends him crashing right back into a certain someone’s orbit. Some pasts don't stay in the past. Especially the ones you thought you left behind.
