Fics like Fools Who Once Were Wise

“Are you seeing what I’m seeing, bud?” Hiccup asked, blinking down at an island that most definitely had not existed a couple of months ago, when he’d last been in the area. Toothless made a vague noise Hiccup chose to interpret as positive. “Maybe Astrid was right about us needing a break, huh? Or maybe I shouldn’t have eaten Gobber’s special stew last night.” “...So, what are the chances that we get eaten by trolls the second we land?” Toothless huffed as though he were laughing at Hiccup. He probably was. ------------------- Hiccup refuses to get eaten by an old lady. Everything that happens after is 100% his own fault. At least he got a boyfriend out of it.
