Fics like Home Again

“So what is it you want, then, that you’ve put on a show so I’d venture out into the woods for you?” “I’m glad you’ve decided you can only speak to me when I force your hand.” “Oh, so that’s what this is? Some petty vendetta because I haven’t spoken to poor little Oscar? I’m not the one who fled like there was a bloody crime scene the last time we spoke.” “You made it quite clear you didn’t care to speak to me the last time I was in your house." “Oh, you mean when you brought your girlfriend to one of our family dinners after not seeing each other for three years?” Oscar grins. “Seems I’m not the only one with some petty vendetta.” Or: Oscar and Lando meet as teenagers, one a vampire, one a werewolf. Oscar leaves Lando behind for years, and a cold carcass of their childhood bond is all he’s left in his wake. But Oscar is determined to make sure Lando knows it’s not so easy to ignore your next-door neighbour.
