Fics like Say Goodbye to Who I Was

For the last… year…? Two years…? … For as long as she could remember she'd been stuck in the custody of Async, keeping her in this sorry excuse as a room until she could potentially be useful to them. Sometimes she'd go on recon missions, through the areas she'd known and where she came from, but mostly she was stuck in her prison with the same four concrete walls and concrete floor with one light that never went off. It drove her crazy, to the point that when the first opportunity to escape into the twisting yellow maze presented itself to her, she took it. Ending up in the apartment of a broke writer named Nikki Freeman 30 years since she'd entered the maze last.
