Fics like A Broken Promise Is The Opposite Of Betrayal

No one else knows Punz is here, there's no chance to be talked out of it. Even so, there is no plan to ensure he keeps his nerve; can he do this? …Punz thinks of Dream. Dream and his burning tenacity, his struggles to recover months later, his constant flinching, so unlike the steady poise he used to have. Punz thinks of night after night treating infected wounds because normal potions just didn’t have the proper effects anymore, the mercenary being too busy treating Dream to make anything stronger. He thinks of Quackity, strutting about like a peacock, completely unapologetic, proud. Suddenly, Punz discovers just how easy it is... Punz believes some things, someone is worth sacrificing everything for. Or: Punz took one look at Dream after the prison break, went “Is no one gonna avenge that?”, and didn't wait for an answer.
