Fics like The Geneva Protocol

{Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs — Joint Press Notice} {Ref. FDFA/MMC/GVA/PN/2052-004 | 20 January 2052} The formal opening ceremony of the Arxur Hegemony Advance Mission, Geneva will take place on Monday 4 March 2052. The ceremony will commence at 16:30 local time at the Quai du Mont-Blanc. A reception at the compound will follow. Accreditation will not be granted after 31 January 2052. --- Over a year after first contact, the empire humanity has come to know as the Hegemony has an address on Earth: a leased stretch of parkland on Lake Geneva, built to its own timeline. Nothing has been taken by force. It has been taken by lease, by allowance, by permit and deadline—something that no living arxur has ever achieved. Thus, the arxur Dominion foresees an easy integration. Only with time will we see whether the arxur were right with that assumption.
