Fics like Fall of a System

With their escape from the facility, the SBG kids have learned to lay low. They managed to get to New York, but once there, they found their homes drained and empty. So, they set up a life. New identities, new looks, new clothes, and a large apartment to disappear. The problem? One Charles Francis Xavier knows of them. Intimately. And to say he won't let the 6 go is a given. The old man, throughout all his years, has learned to sniff out a lie. And the government's slew of many has him on the path. Will the group be able to avoid both him and the people hot on their trail, or will one evasion give under the other? No matter what, these kids have been through the paces, and they won't go quietly. Not anymore. Not without their parents. They would make sure of it. Follow the SBG kids as they navigate the complicated journey to New York, and the fragile identities they've donned to hide in plain sight as the X-Men try to make sense of the situation. And behind the scenes, a plot unfolds, one that will undoubtedly intertwine the two groups into something. Mutants and experimented kids; not an unusual combo, but volatile all the same. We wish the X-Men good luck.
