Fics like blood runs thicker than water

Aziraphale and Crowley meet for the first time in the middle of the great war of heaven. where Crowley is hurt and Aziraphale, despite his best effort to remain the war commander of heaven, can not convince himself to let this demon die. ( the opening Scene of GO3 had Inspired me to write this fic. it might not be a long one. I believe the first scene had so much potential for creating a decent backstory.)
