The first thing Minho notices is the smell. It’s not unusual for Jisung to have that distinctive pup smell clinging to him — after all, he’s always snatching Chan and Felix’s pup whenever the whole group gets together or he goes to visit the couple at their house. Jisung adores that little boy so much that Felix usually has to snatch his child back most of the time, before Jisung ends up tucking him under his arm and taking him back home without anyone noticing. This time, the scent doesn’t seem like the usual one, it’s something deeper and softer, something milky and sweet that lingers on the back of Minho’s tongue. Lately, when his omega drags himself into the kitchen in the mornings, drawn by the smell of Minho’s cooking, Jisung clings to him like a koala, rubbing his face against the alpha’s neck as if trying to merge with him into a single person. This new scent of his tends to be stronger right after he wakes up. The faintly milky scent clinging to Jisung has been driving Minho’s curiosity to mind-boggling levels.
