Fics like Act One: Convicted and Released

After serving a sentence of twelve years in Azkaban for a crime he didn’t commit, Sirius Black is released. He is a shadow of his former self. Disowned from his family and outcast from the magical community, he struggles to make his way on the muggle side of London. However, the past refuses to lie where he’s left it, and it turns out he may have a few unexpected allies after all. Meanwhile, Harry Potter finds three things out at once: that he has a godfather, that his godfather is a death eater, and that his godfather was once in line to be the Duke of Avalon, whatever that means. He doesn’t take the news well. (in which the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black is both very ancient and very noble) Pre-written and complete :) Updates Sunday/Tuesday evenings ET
