Fics like And I'd do it again

Jikkyuu was usually a very smooth guy. Really. It was easy with Shokudaikiri. He didn’t know Shokudaikiri. They shared the same smith, and could regard each other as 'family' the same way that humans arbitrarily decided family. When it came to anything that had to do with memories, that was a different story. Jikkyuu was careful with Souza, gentle with Fudou and patient with Hasebe. Having instinct but not knowledge affected how confident he could be in interacting with them. “Yo, Jikkyuu!” Jikkyuu froze. Yagen Toushirou walked over to him, hands in his pockets. It was so familiar, but when he reached out to grasp the memory, his mind closed around nothing. Was it Yagen that was familiar? Was it Oda Nobunaga who was familiar? Was there a difference? “…yes?” Jikkyuu asked. He was nervous for some reason. “Taishou is dispatching us. To Honnouji.”
