Fics like Cat Nap

“Wow! Three cats!” Rodney beamed as he carefully held the little white kitty, stroking her gently. “Sure glad we stuck around.” John held the tortoiseshell, admiring her multicolored coat. “Don’t know if we can keep ‘em but we can at least find good homes for them.” Ronon held the black cat, who settled against his leather vest in his leather cuffed arms as if he belonged there. Ronon frowned, “Why can’t we keep them?” Teyla, ever the voice of reason, “Cats require a great deal of care, Ronon. We are rarely at home these days to give them time and attention. We want them to feel loved and not abandoned. Poor things have had enough of that.” Rodney’s face fell as he continued petting the albino kitten, “Well, maybe we can keep them…just for a little while.”
