Fics like Pulled Back The Thread

When Peter thought a spell to erase his existence from everyone's minds was enough to fix the chaos he caused, it instead unraveled a much more terrifying truth about what he really is. "This isn't enough—Peter." "What do you mean? Just make everyone forget, and we'll all be fine—" "Peter... the truth is—you shouldn't even be in this universe to begin with." Those words from Doctor Strange shattered Peter's mind in an instant. A hurricane of thoughts tore through his brain. "What? You mean—" "I have to send you back to where you came from. The leak is too big." "I'm sorry, kid. This is the only way." That final moment left Peter more shaken than he had ever been in his entire life. All this time, he wasn't just a hero—he was a force of nature, an anomaly that shouldn't even exist. "F-fine. As long as everyone is safe and the world isn't ending... send me back." "You're a good kid. A force of nature every universe wants. Good luck, kid. Blessings on your path." "Journey well."
