Laughing, Mira teases, “Know many wine critics, do you?” “I know a few!” “Well, if you happen to know any willing to visit and review, by all means, please tell them to come.” Mira angles her head, smiling. “But in the meantime, your glowing review is plenty.” Rumi blinks, then flushes, bringing the glass back to her lips and looking away, casting her eyes towards the setting sun painting the vineyard in brilliant, flaming hues. “I’m glad you think so,” she mutters, shoulders hunched. “Of course.” Mira can’t tear her gaze away for some reason, taking advantage of Rumi’s attention being elsewhere to admire the way the orange of sunset strokes her skin, highlighting the contours of her face and the bold purple of her hair. She looks perfect, really. As beautiful as the Italian countryside around them. Or: When vineyard owner Mira takes on a guest in her Italian villa for the next month, the last thing she expects is Rumi: beautiful, bold, and the first person to truly match Mira's passion for her craft. What starts as a simple stay soon grows into a guided tour around the local countryside and perhaps, over a shared bottle of wine, even more.
