Fics like Dear Diary

This diary contains a memoir from multiple distant realities. I am Rick Sanchez of dimension BP-39. I am here to record all existing biographies of other Ricks since the start of the MMD theory, or what other Ricks of the Citadel call “Multiversal Morty Discontinuity.” Following my research from the Citadel’s other top leaders, it has come to a conclusion: all Morties have disappeared across infinity. The variable causing this massive loss to the Rick population has been astronomical. Every Morty was believed to be replaceable. From Morty vouchers, cloning departments—there was always another one waiting somewhere. Like a domestic dog always expecting it to be waiting for you after a hard day of work. The universe is infinite and so are the possibilities. That was what Ricks always understood yet underestimated. Every Rick has lost a Morty and there will never be an infinity to try and make up for it again. In one reality, Prime Rick pushes his own grandson into the Omega Device instead of Slow Mobius. Rick C-137 can do nothing but watch—and Evil Morty can’t help him now, either. Elsewhere, in realities where the grief remains, the Citadel remains standing.
