Fics like The Waters and the Wild

An AU Pros story, set fairly loosely in the world of Speilberg's 2001 film Artificial Intelligence. It's the late twenty-second century, the world we know has been half-drowned. Bodie and Doyle are summoned from their respective professions to George Cowley's office, and assigned together to find out who is selling government secrets. Bodie must return to his past as a mercenary, and Doyle - no one told him Cowley was mad - Doyle is sent undercover as a love mecha.
