Fics like Puzzle Complex

"Listen to me, Clark. If I don’t solve this ridiculous magical puzzle on my own like the damned imps require before the timer hits zero, I will be stuck as frustratingly incompetent for the rest of my life. Batman will still be out using every single hard-earned martial arts technique I’ve spent my entire life mastering without any of the humanity left inside him to do it safely. Meanwhile Brucie will still be running around like the prancing, shallow, dick-for-brains ignoramus I’ve built him to be, without any of the higher brain function required to stop him from collecting broken hearts and STDs like fucking pokemon cards." Or: That time Bruce got hit with a body-splitting spell and told Clark all the pornographic things he wanted him to do to his now-independent Brucie persona. For plot reasons. So many plot reasons.
