Fics like A bad day, a worse world and one very tired fae

Severus snape has handled hormonal teenagers, Dark Lords, and incompetent colleagues- but nothing prepared him for waking up in Night Raven college in the youthful fae body he's spent decades hiding behind glamours. Harry Potter, equally displaced, arrives beside him, dragged along entirely by accident and already making the situation worse in ways only harry can. Fate, having used snape as a puppet for most of his life, finally granted him a new one. Not a death, not an ending- simply a clean severing from the world that demanded too much of him. Grim develops an unsettling fascination with him, Crowley is spectacularly unhelpful, and the dorm leaders are far more concerned with the living shadows that make up Snape's hair. Snape might be chronically irritated and Harry keeps provoking trouble out of habit. As they navigate a school full of volatile students, unpredictable over blots and a headmage who never gives straight answers. A life that isn't built on sacrifice. Harry meanwhile, is simply trying not to set anything on fire- and failing spectacularly.
