Fics like i love you very much forever

“You’ve been weirder about going away on your missions lately,” Lance said next. “Like you’re expecting something bad to happen. Is there something you aren’t telling me?” Keith only shrugged, glancing at the pond. “I guess it’s just old habit. Especially since—” He cut himself off suddenly. “Never mind. It should be an easy mission. It’ll be okay.” Lance smiled at him. “It’s not like there’s any more danger, the war’s over. You’ll come back. You always do.” Keith faltered. “Right.” He wasn’t smiling back. ----------- After three months of not hearing from Keith, Lance finds out that he went missing on a Blade mission, and is apparently dead according to official reports. After a lot of digging, Lance discovers that Keith may be alive after all, hidden away by an organization that seeks revenge for something he did. Keith is haunted by the belief that his guilt will not absolve him.
