Fics like Breathe It to Believe It

“C’mon…c’mon…” Wifies mumbled quietly under his breath, “just a little bit longer…” The final bubble disappeared without fanfare. And Wifies couldn’t breathe. There was water in his lungs, pouring down his throat from both nose and mouth. A stinging, never-ending stream of salt water burning the delicate tissue of his respiratory system. He frantically shoved himself away from his computer, gagging and coughing in an attempt to clear out the fluid, but every sharp exhale was not of the sea but of air. He was drowning on water that didn’t even exist. *** When Wifies drowns in-game, he drowns in real life too. The Leviathan just wants someone to believe in his existance.
