Fics like an octopus is just a wet spider

Peter Parker is six years old when his parents die in a plane crash. He's six when his Aunt and Uncle are murdered, and he's six when he's declared missing in the following investigation. Years later, Peter is living with Tony and the Avengers in Avenger's Tower. It's nice, he's gradually getting used to living for the sake of living and not just killing, and he's somehow got a brilliant boyfriend and amazing friends. Then, on a random Friday, Mr Harrington announces a field trip. To Avenger's Tower, of all places.
