Fics like to hold but not to have

“I-,” Peter cleared his throat. “I am really sorry for that. I didn’t mean to stumble into you.” The words rushed out of him. “And… and thank you of course.” A nervousness so unlike him settled in his gut and he felt a familiar blush spread across his cheeks as Frank did nothing but stare at him for a while longer. “You’re most welcome. It’s not every day that someone this handsome stumbles into my arms.” Frank replied voice gentle and deep and as if to underline his point he squeezed Peter’s waist. A tingle spread across his skin, washing over Peter like warm honey. He was so fucked. Peter was so utterly impossibly fucked. --- Or the one where Frank had a couple of bad days and was in desperate need of a drink but found a pretty distraction instead. If only those eyes weren’t so honest and his voice didn’t sound so familiar.
