Fics like HR Season 2. An Adapted Screenplay of "The Long Game"

An fan-made adaptation of the TLG book into a hypothetical 6-episode season. Episodes: 1. Legacy - where Shane and Ilya's relationship falters. 2. Help - where Ilya hits rock bottom. 3. Crash - where Shane has to reconsider everything. 4. Choice - where it is never too late to change. 5. Pride - where shame stops dictating their lives. 6. Accident - where love persists, over all. - We continue the canon from season 1: only Yuna and David know about Shane and Ilya’s relationship. Rose knows Shane’s gay and Svetlana knows Ilya’s bi. - It’s been two years since the end of the season 1. - Many people suspect Shane’s gay due to his uninterest in women. He also spends so much time “alone” it is kind of obvious he is dating someone secretly. - Like in the book, Ilya’s been struggling with isolation and depression for a while. - As the episodes progress, we will mostly tackle: people finding out about Shane and Ilya's relationship (Ryan, Rose, Hayden, Jackie, Svetlana); Ilya’s mental health struggles and their origin; and Shane’s ED and identity issues (internalized homophobia, perfectionism, etc.); their general struggles as closeted players in a homophobic environment.
