Fics like Where Did You Get All Those Arms From

Clint looked slowly towards the ceiling. There, in the corner, was Peter. Stuck to the roof. Looking at Clint. With eight eyes. Clint stared at him. Peter stared back. "Thats... a lot of eyes." They closed quickly one after the other, until only two remained. They narrowed as Peter hissed - HISSED? - at Clint. "You saw nothing." Peter rasped, before crawling, Scuttling, into the vents. Clint stood still for a few more seconds, before slowly setting his coffee down with a thunk. Clearly, he'd been consuming too much caffeine, and had now begun to hallucinate. He turned and walked back to bed in a daze. Walked, because, despite that definitely not being real, Clint feared he wouldn't be venturing back into the Towers complex system of vents ever again. Stark would be happy about that.
