Fics like Antoinette's Lament ~an oc/hazbin hotel story~

Anathema, a deer demon, has been in hell for over a hundred years, burying down memories that can't help spilling to the surface every once and a while. As an Overlord, her job is to entertain sinners by performance: music, acting and dancing. For seven years she had been doing this until she is set on a mission by her boss to collect as much information as she can about his foe. What she does not know, this will cause her more pain and those memories, the memories she had always tried to keep buried, to come to the surface. By invite, she is a guest and resident at the Hazbin Hotel and begins making new connections and opening older ones. As well as this, she must do what her boss wants to be repaid for information she has wanted for over one hundred years. As soon as she stepped foot in hell, she vowed to make her ex husband pay for all the things he had done. The things he had taken away from her. The information her boss wanted is her way to finding him. Anathema is climbing the Overlord ranks, gaining more power everywhere she goes, casting soul deals anytime she can. She must hide her secrets and keep down those memories but one sinner makes it a bit too hard for her.
