Fics like Worth The Chase

Mitya had spent years running. Valeriy had spent just as long chasing. When Valeriy dies on stage during the theatre investigation, Mitya is forced to confront everything he's been running from. Now, in the aftermath of Act II, they're both trying to figure out what comes next. "Life will be all the duller for not having to run away from you, my friend." He said those words to a corpse. Now he has to say them to the man who came back.
