Fics like Amadeus Butterfly

In 1918, a Singapore-raised Christian of Japanese descent has one goal: assassinate the cult leader who destroyed his family. But on the night of his planned attack, he finds himself saving the life of a dying Flower Hashira Kochou Kanae—and meeting her sister, Shinobu. This is not a story of relentless battle. It is a story of five broken souls learning to heal each other: a strategist who carries his faith; a scientist who hides her grief behind a smile; a prodigy who buried his heart after losing his twin; a boy who refuses to let his demon sister be condemned; and a silent girl learning to find her own voice. They will discover that some demons cannot be killed by swords alone. This may not be the most popular story in this fandom. But it is, perhaps, the one that treats Kochou Shinobu with the most respect.A story about love, loss, and the courage to keep living—even when the world is darkest. And a story about slow-burn romance, found family, and SSSS（Significant Strategy to Save Shinobu/Strange Samurai Squad Saga）. If you know Tom Cruise's Last Samurai, you'll find that my story is just like it. Translated from Chinese original version.
