Fics like Little Spider

“Where’s Eddie at? Shouldn't you two be buddy-ing it up and causing a giant pain in my ass?” “We had a fight…” Venom crawled towards Peter in pulses, slithering over the light fixture on the ceiling, casting the kitchen into darkness. “I realized that he was trash….” Peter stands, putting his hands on his hips. “Okay, and what does that have to do with me?” Being close quarters in a confined space with Venom like this is never ideal. What's worse, though, is that if he makes too much noise by fighting him off, he might attract some attention from the surrounding tenants. Venom takes that second of lost eye contact to lunge, reaching for Peter. Peter drops to the floor and catches himself on his hands so he doesn't make a sound, twisting and pushing himself to his feet. He backs away towards his bedroom, watching the symbiote closely from below. “I had nowhere else to go…” Venom says rather pitifully in Peter's ears. Spiderman might have felt maybe an ounce of sympathy at that, but venom had to ruin it by just dropping down onto his kitchen table with a heavy bang! that cracked it in half. “Gee, how lucky am I.” Peter says through his teeth.
