Dancing together on a warm summer's night, sharing meals and holding each other in an embrace that could only be given by those who loved each other, they flashed across his mind as he grew, the string always urging him to follow it. As the capital had always been so busy, he had hoped that one day his other half would walk into him. So he supposed it made sense that he would consult Mistria's local sorceress in his adulthood on why the string never seemed to shorten. AU of where Ryis has a special kind of magic sight that allows him to see red strings of fate, including his own.
