The Jisung standing in the kitchen doorway is unlike any of Minho’s memories. He’s grown out of his awkward gawkiness entirely. His tousled hair curls at his nape, stylishly cut. He has what look like designer glasses perched on his nose, and he’s wearing a shirt that draws attention to both his broad shoulders and slight waist. When he catches Minho’s eye, he gives him a familiar smile—once sweet and goofy as a preteen, now totally disarming. He’s horrendously Minho’s type. Like, embarrassingly. His mind spins and spins until he can’t make out any singular thought in the chaos. His inner monologue is one solid, whirring thing. “Been a long time since I had a proper bug sighting,” he says, trying not to sound as winded as he feels. He’s staring. He can’t help it. He’s looking at an apparition of the kind of pretty-eyed guy he’d approach in a bar, here in Chan’s nice kitchen, wearing little Jisung’s smile. When Minho reconnects with his childhood friends, he finds himself struggling with unexpected feelings for Chan's little brother Jisung.
