Fics like Mayor Mamdani Has the New York Tingles!

Peter Parker had fought aliens, survived multiversal disasters, and been thrown through more walls than his security deposit could justify. None of it prepared him for waking up in a private hospital room after getting shot while saving Jean Grey. There were balloons. There were cards. There was an oxygen mask, an IV bag that probably cost seven hundred dollars, and the horrifying realization that Bellevue Hospital knew exactly who he was beneath the suit. Worse: he was uninsured. As an American. In the most expensive city in the world. Frank Castle insists the solution is obvious: tag Mayor Mamdani on TikTok to save the day. Or: My (crack) theory on how Spider-Man was able to pay for his expensive hospital bill!
