Fics like There Will be Blood, but You Will be Loved

“Care to ask where I have been?” I say, walking into the living room, where Louis is sitting on the couch with his laptop. “We share location, Lestat. I saw you walking in circles around the neighborhood, figured you decided to hunt or something.” I shift my gaze from Louis to the phone beside him. He indeed was watching me move along his map as a little blue dot while answering his tedious emails, the worst invention of humanity to cling to, in my opinion. However, Louis seems to love his little electronic letters. And who am I to judge? I come closer and look at the screen again. I look at us, two dots on the map, pulsating next to each other so close they almost merge into one. The dots are in the location called “home.” or After awakening Akasha, not only visions of the past torture Lestat, but also visions of the future. The future he keeps seeing involves a wedding, a century-old engagement ring, and Louis somehow putting a child inside him. Every night, he sees a little girl. She has Louis’ mortal eyes, his dimpled chin, and Lestat’s obnoxious laugh. She speaks perfect French and calls Louis “Daddy Lou.” She also knows exactly how to hurt Lestat, despite not even being born yet
