Fics like The Forgotten

Three years ago, everyone forgot Peter Parker. Well... almost everyone. Jean Grey remembers the strange wave of energy that swept through the world that night, but she never figured out what caused it. Three years later, she feels that same energy again. This time, it belongs to a very tired, very secretive college student who apparently has no idea why a red-haired girl keeps staring at him. Peter has university, an internship with Dr. Otto Octavius, and the small matter of being Spider-Man. Jean has her own problems, a missing sister, college, and a growing suspicion that Peter Parker is hiding something very weird. Somewhere between coffee, late-night studying, questionable movie recommendations, and one very persistent mystery, they become friends. And then things get complicated. Very, very complicated. ♡
