Fics like You Had Me At Hello

After their CCM hookup, Shane disappeared from the hockey world. Six years later, he and Ilya reconnect through a shared loved of movies. Warm fluffy vibes, some delicious spice, add in a whole lot of love, and a guaranteed HEA 💜 ~~~~~~~~ After an injury ended his MLH career before it even began, Shane Hollander had to redefine his life. He found comfort in movies, and the mechanics of creating them, so he made studying film his new passion. Now the co-owner of The Heart and The Ocean, an upscale boutique theater/bar in New York City, Shane is happy… mostly. Ilya Rozanov, “Boston’s biggest playboy,” has been in a bit of a spiral. After his father’s death, he longs to feel closer to his mama. With warm memories of their special place, a small dollar theater in Moscow, Ilya visits the little cinema he spotted on a night out in NYC. That’s how he ends up face to face with his former rival/one-time hookup, whom he hasn’t spoken to in six years. Will their shared loved of cinema overpower Shane’s aversion to everything hockey and bring them back together? Is Shane’s heart beating as wildly as Ilya’s?
