Fics like 10th anniversary celebration!

Between a quiet morning with his dad and Gizmo’s warm purrs, Sal Fisher expects a completely ordinary birthday. Instead, he spends the entire day wandering the halls of Addison Apartments and Nockfell High feeling strangely isolated, his friends avoiding his gaze, giggling behind his back, and slipping away before he can ask what's wrong. Even his partner seems to be ducking out at every turn. When a cryptic note directs him down to the dark, eerie basement after school, Sal prepares for the worst. But the creepy candlelit path doesn't lead to a haunting; it leads to a room full of streamers, lopsided cake, and the people who care about him most. or The reader and the gang avoid Sal all day to throw him a surprise birthday party!
