Theo shows up at Liam’s bedroom window looking like he’s been through hell. Liam isn’t exactly thrilled to find him there—until he realizes Theo is hurt, exhausted, and clearly has nowhere else to go. Theo insists he doesn’t need help. Liam doesn’t listen. One first-aid kit, one ugly blanket, and several arguments later, Theo is forced to confront something he’s never quite known how to handle: being cared for without being asked to earn it.
