Fics like Turn around, I promise I’m right here

"Jeeze, I'm coming! What do you wa-" And then there he is. Rumpled and tiredly rubbing sleep out of his eyes, Peter stands in front of him. Curls askew as he takes in Tony with a dropped jaw and shocked eyes. Real. Alive. Every moment of futile searching is worth it. It's Peter. Tony's arms itch to reach out. "Hello Ben," he says instead, grin a little mischievous in his relief. "That's you, is it?" "Right," Peter replies. His voice flat and his face rearranging itself into a careful blankness. "This again." He slams the door. That is, of course, not ideal. Or The obligatory fic in which Tony wakes up from a coma to find that no one remembers Peter. Being remembered should be simple. Somehow it feels anything but. ‼️do not use for AI 😤‼️
