Fics like hold my hand tight, we'll make it another night

William watched another video showing him how to inject himself, and he tried to hype himself up, telling himself that after Dakota was done showering, he’d be able to do it. If he wanted to transition, if he wanted to help the overwhelming dysphoria, he had to. So why couldn’t he? He lay down on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He probably could ask Tide for help if he needed to, although that would probably be awkward. Tide wasn’t his dad or anything, but any time he asked him about stuff like that, it felt like an uncomfortable father-son conversation. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on his bedroom door. “Yeah?” He asked, sitting up. “Is this yours?” Dakota asked, holding up a plastic bag. His heart stopped for a moment. “Uh…I…no…?” or, William is trans and starting t for the first time, and Dakota finds his things (and then helps him with his first shot) title from "Devil Town" by Cavetown
